Terms of Service

Last updated: June 14, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of liftaudit.com and the LiftAudit services (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

LiftAudit analyzes web pages and reports readiness and “liftability” signals intended to help your content be cited by AI search engines, and generates suggested fixes. Scores and outputs are informational signals, not a guarantee that any AI engine (such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, Gemini, or Claude) will cite, rank, or surface your content.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information, keep your password secure, and are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use the Service.

3. Acceptable use

4. Plans, billing, and cancellation

Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis through our payment processor, Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges until you cancel. You can change or cancel your plan from your account’s billing portal; plan changes are prorated automatically. Unless required by law, fees already paid are non-refundable, and cancellation stops future renewals rather than refunding the current period. We may change pricing with reasonable notice. [Add any specific refund terms or free-trial conditions.]

5. Your content

You retain ownership of the URLs, text, and other content you submit. You grant us a limited license to process that content solely to provide the Service (including sending it to our AI provider to generate outputs). You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to submit it.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and content (excluding your content), is owned by LiftAudit and protected by applicable laws. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any result (including AI citation) will be achieved.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LiftAudit will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or revenues. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service or other users. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (e.g., disclaimers, limitation of liability) will survive.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, additional notice. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing law & contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of [insert governing jurisdiction], without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Questions? Email alerts@liftaudit.com.
