This Privacy Policy explains what information LiftAudit (“LiftAudit”, “we”, “us”) collects when you use liftaudit.com and our services, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the service you agree to this policy.

2. Information we collect

3. How we use your information

- To process payments and manage subscriptions;
- To send transactional email (sign-in, password resets, account and billing notices);
- To respond to you and, where you opted in, to follow up about tools you used;
- To secure the service, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
4. Service providers we share with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with vendors that process it on our behalf:

We keep account and audit data while your account is active. If you delete a project, its scans are deleted with it. If you close your account, we delete or anonymize associated personal data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain records (e.g., for tax, accounting, or legal reasons).
6. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live (e.g., the EU/UK under GDPR, or California under CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these, email alerts@liftaudit.com and we will respond as required by law. You can opt out of analytics at any time via the banner or your browser’s Do-Not-Track / Global Privacy Control signal — see the Cookie Policy.
7. Security
Passwords are stored hashed, sessions are protected with secure cookies, and traffic is served over HTTPS. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
8. International transfers
Our providers may process data in countries other than yours. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
9. Children
LiftAudit is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
10. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, additional notice.
