The ForkLift Truck Association (FLTA) reports that forklifts are one of the most dangerous aspects of workplace transport
And report that forklifts injure 2,200 people annually, with 1,300 hospitalized with serious, or life-changing, injuries

These statistics reflect that most accidents involving forklift trucks occur in a warehousing or logistics environment. The causes include a lack of sufficient training of the operator, operator error, a lack of
knowledge about the equipment and the working environment, unsuitable premises. We’ll examine poor forklift truck maintenance and inspections.

I am writing this letter of recommendation for Pierre Laudenberg and highly recommend him. As a retired Service Engineer with Mitsubishi Caterpillar Forklifts of America, I finished my career in the corporate office in Houston, Texas. I came to know Mr. Laudenberg when I was the Training Administrator and Chief of Quality Control at the largest lift truck dealership in Southern California. At that time, Mr. Laudenberg was an anomaly in that he displayed the highest of standards for the quality of maintenance and repairs, excelled in leadership skills, and had an unmatched passion for safety. For that reason, when a legal firm litigating a fatal accident contacted me, I referred them to Mr. Laudenberg as a resource for expert witness testimony. The results for the law firm were extremely favorable.

After leaving southern California and relocating to Houston, Mr. Laudenberg and I remained in contact as he utilized the Engineering Department for his service needs. This continued throughout his career with MCFA, from his positions as a Field Service Supervisor until his departure as a Regional Service Manager. In all those years – from 1994 to 2010, Mr. Laudenberg has had an unwavering and unyielding conviction for top quality service and full adherence to the safety standards. I have nothing but the utmost confidence in his abilities to continue to provide such quality and such standards.

I am a logistic and yard manager of a nationwide lumber and building material supplier. While Pierre Laudenberg was representing our lift truck service company, he exhibited the highest of standards for safety and maintenance. With the elements of safety always being paramount in this industry, the confidence that I had in his service alleviated many of my concerns, which allowed me to turn my full attention to the business at hand. I have the upmost confidence in Mr. Laudenberg's standards and attention to detail.

Several years back, I worked as a service manager for an industrial battery and charger company and Pierre Laudenberg worked for a forklift dealership. Pierre called on us several times to assist him with battery repairs and charger repairs and programming. In all of my dealings with Pierre during those years, I found him to be extremely focused, first and foremost, on creating a positive experience for his customers. Pierre was never happy with just completing the task at-hand in a timely manner, but he wanted to make sure it was done with the highest of quality. Another thing that I found refreshingly unusual about Pierre is that he always wanted to know and understand the details about how and why the batteries and chargers were repaired and programmed the way that they were. It wasn’t enough for him to know it was correct, he wanted to understand why it was correct. If there ever was a person who could be accused of being “detailed oriented”, it would be Pierre!

I am the owner and founder of a well-established family business, suppling industrial hoses and fittings to the heavy equipment and manufacturing industries. Our business has multiple branches across the US, and we supply to industries across the nation. In my dealings with Pierre Laudenberg, whether in his capacity as a Field Service Supervisor, or as a Regional Service Manager for an international Lift Truck organization, I found his standards to be exceptional. He exhibited a vast knowledge of the requirements for hose specifications, the highest of standards for customer service, and a constant focus on safety. I found his qualities to be rare, and yet an impressive demonstration of what should be present in the material handling industry.

I am an independent Snap On Tool dealer. In the brief encounters I had with Pierre Laudenberg as his tool supplier, which spanned many years, I found him to exhibit unique qualities. Not only for his standards in his choice for tools, but as our conversations included work and personal topics, he exhibited the same high standards for the quality of the repairs and maintenance on the equipment he was responsible for. What became equally obvious was his unyielding positions on safety standards. I found Mr. Laudenberg to be a rarity in the industry and I have the upmost confidence he will never waiver from his positions.
